There are three options for the&nbsp;greeting by the priest. The first one is \u201cThe grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God,&nbsp;and the communion of the Holy Spirit.\u201d This greeting is not arbitrarily made up. It comes from 2&nbsp;Corinthians 13:13.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The second option for the greeting is \u201cGrace to you and peace from God our Father and the&nbsp;Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d This one follows a pattern found in Galatians 6:18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The third option for the greeting is \u201cThe Lord be with you.\u201d This is found in Ruth 2:4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">We are a Bible-based church.
